The principles of data protection
AppartementHotels.com takes the protection of your privacy and your personal data very seriously. We would therefore like to explain what data we collect, what we use it for and how we protect your data. These data protection principles do not apply to Web sites that may be accessed by clicking on hyperlinks on AppartementHotels.com Web pages.
1. General information on data protection and the purpose of data storage
What data do we collect?
Bookings & Inquiries
Whenever you make a hotel reservation using AppartementHotels.com, we collect the data that we require to make the reservation, particularly your name, telephone number and e-mail address ("contact details"), as well as your arrival and departure dates, the name of the hotel and the type of room booked ("booking details").
General questions may be addressed to us using the Contact field. In order to be able to process your enquiries, we collect your contact details. This data is deleted again once the enquiry has been dealt with.
My AH.com may be used to register as a user of our site by entering your contact details. One of the advantages of being registered is that you do not have to re-enter your details every time you make a booking. You may un-register again at any time. To do so, simply send an e-mail to » firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will then delete your contact details. My AH.com also enables users to be kept informed by e-mail about travel tips, changes to the site, special offers, etc. It can also be used to subscribe to a newsletter. Users are free to choose whether or not to benefit from this form of customer support, and may unsubscribe again at any time.

What are cookies?
Cookies are small pieces of information that your browser stores on your computer‘s hard disk. However, this may prevent you using some of the functions we offer. The basic "search-and-book" functions can also be used without cookies.
You may ask to see your stored personal data at any time. You also have the right to correct, delete or (in the case of incorrect data) bar such data. AppartementHotels.com wants to increase your trust in the online reservation system. This is why we provide comprehensive information on our policies regarding the privacy of your personal information.
Anonymous Use of the Reservation Service
The reservation service can generally be used without making any personal entries, i.e. anonymous use is possible. This means that the user can inform himself about offers without registering.
To complete a transaction, personal information such as the user's name and address are required. The user is explicitly notified about data acquisition that takes place during registration. This required data, the extent of which can be seen on the registration form, is needed to formulate and process the contractual relationship. The entry of data which is labeled as voluntary is not absolutely necessary for registration. If voluntary entries are made, these will be evaluated anonymously and for statistical purposes only.
AppartementHotels.com forwards the data needed for completion of the accommodations contract, and which was transmitted during the transactions, to the respective contractual partner. In the MyAH.com area, registered users have access to an overview of their personal information. This information is reserved exclusively for them.
AppartementHotels.com creates no personalized user profiles. All page-views and use of the AppartementHotels.com reservation platform is recorded anonymously. The data gained from this is used by AppartementHotels.com solely to improve the design and user guidance of the site.
